不要着急。第一轮的面试通知要发到2月15日，现在还有很多的申请还在评估中。我去年申请第二轮的时候，在申请截止日1月15日交上材料，3月18日才有面试通知（截止日期是3月31日）。

Stern MBA没有专门的real estate方向，但是在finance和marketing方向都有不少与房地产行业相关的课程。因为身处纽约市，学校与地产界的关系很好（我们的选修课经常是Donald Trump之流来做讲座），每年都有不少毕业生去房地产公司、房地产投资基金或顾问公司就职。

Dear tree,

I applied to stern in the second round. Would you please tell me the rough possiblity of success and scholarship? How can I prepare for the rest, THA. My detail:

GMAT: 770 (50/46), Toefl 620 (58/68/60) TWE 3.5 (There must be something wrong) GPA 3.1 (Advanced Math 95, Top 5 in the first year and No.1 last year, Bachlor of Art and Engineering)

96-98 Mobil Intern

98.7-98.11 Mobil Exxon

98.11-now Beijing IT industry. (worked for 2 companies, member of the board of another private company, many kinds of resposiblities, such as advisory architect, Overseas business, and domestic partner cooperation)

Plan: After learning many aspects and slices of world business, I need to focus on something good (Operate business with more social responsibilities)

Other aspects:

Have been to all continents, 8 countries (US / Europe / Africa / East Asia) on business (Most are cooperation or governmental diplomatic affairs)

1998 International Mathematics Contest Winner.

One technical book published in USA(Author) invited by IBM, Two in China (reviewer) , one of them invited by IBM

While I believe based on your listed competence you have great chance to acquire scholarship if you get enrolled in Round 1, Stern has a convention that not offer R2 admits internal scholarship.  I'm not quite sure whether you have unfortunately missed R1, which was with the Dec 1 deadline, and eventually ended up with R2.

Normally the majority of Stern's Chinese R1 admitted students can get scholarship covering half-tuition and above from the school.  Even though you missed R1, you can still apply for external scholarship (offered by sponsors and related parties) once get admitted.

Q&A via email and phone offered by current students is one of Stern's admission service items (I'm also participating in this program).  Every involved student may have dozens of emails and phone calls to handle simultaneously thus keeping silence for days is not unusual.  Sorry about the inconvenience brought to you.

You can shoot she/he a follow-up email upon that.  If still no response after several days, please forward me the previous email she/he sent and I'll check it out.
