B. Join the staff meeting

C. Wait for the pool to open

D. Wait for the comopetition to begin.

答案倒是挺明显：C，但是却没有查到take around有等一会的意思。

请指点啊~~

take around 是不是也可以理解成为四处转一转，等会再来。不过个人认为不算特别重要，呵呵

stick around这是解释

to stay in a place a little longer, waiting for something to happen
Perhaps you'd like to stick around and watch?

实在是不好区分是take around 还是stick around，说实话都有点像

But it is really more like "stick around". 而且这样解释得非常清楚。
