关于and的问题。。马上考试啦……

感觉OG比较强调and前如果接了逗号，最好and这个句子是完整的吧？
但是
Joachim Raff and Giacomo Meyerbeer are examples of the kind of composer who receives popular acclaimwhile living, often goes into decline after death, and never regains popularity again.
(A) often goes into decline after death, and never regains popularity again
(B) whose reputation declines after death and never regains its status again
(C) but whose reputation declines after death and never regains its former status
(D) who declines in reputation after death and who never regained popularity again
(E) then has declined in reputation after death and never regained popularity
这道题选C，but前加了逗号，但是连的是从句，不用逗号更好吧?

同样的疑惑，关于本题中  “，but whose 从句”中逗号的使用问题，是不是应该不加？？

另外类似的情况，在Elory OG笔记之中，第80题A选项的解释中提到：

“that从句，若是两个不同主语的that从句修饰同一对象，两个从句that应补出，且在繁杂时，第二个that从句前应有逗号。”

这句话表示非常困惑，不知哪里有正解句子可以证明之！！

句子是【who引导的从句】和【whose引导的从句】两个从句并列，修饰的都是composer
而两个从句并列的时候，如果从句较长（或内容较复杂），就可以在第二个从句前加上逗号，以使得表意更加清晰~ ”
