怎么感觉答案没有一个是对的啊？谁能给分析一下句子结构，这个看起来有点儿混乱！

这里很明显C是错的，但感觉D也不对，不是说可数名词不能单独存在吗？应该加复数或者加定冠词的呀！

sculpture在这里为一个集合名词 可以以单数形式存在

第13解释起来有点难度 应选C

总体来看是一个解释性的定语从句 如果改写成 an ellipse may be defined as the locus of all points whose distances from two fixed points is constant 可能就很好理解 但这样的句意不精确 还要用sum of 来进一步明确distance

谢谢2位斑竹，我知道是怎么回事儿了，从网上download下来的题输入有错误，13题的D选项应该是the sum of whose!
