作文只求3.5! 觉得这篇有点要跑题了… 还有 中间论述只有正反两段可以吗 第三段觉得时间紧写不完啊47) Educatorsshould find out what students want included in the curriculum and then offer itto them. The author alleges that educators should take into account what students need in the curriculum and satisfy them. It might be tempting to agree with the author, primarily because educators acting as guiders of development of students ought to consider what students want. However, the author overlooks the feasibility of the statement and neglect the rationality of advice from students. In my view, I consider that educators should make sound developing scheme based on requests of students instead of adopting their advice without analysis.
It s true that educators should sufficiently take account into what students want. Education amounts to , far from instilling knowledge into students, imparting and delivering beliefs , values and methods of critical thinking. So,in order to lead every student to their best final goals, educators ought to refer to opinions and advice from students before deciding curriculum what students must take. One apt illustration involves an authoritative research from The University of Hong Kong which conducted among eighty-five universities and colleges around the world. The research shows that the quality of graduates of approximately 89 percent universities that design (those design )curriculum according to students’ interest and inclination is much higher than that of universities that disregard what students would like. Thus, educators have to emphasize the important role of students’ ideas in teaching.
However, exorbitant following students’ ideas might to some extent deteriorate quality of teaching and impede development of students. First, the amount of teachers and professors in one university or college is limited, thus it is impossible to adequately meet every student’s need. Considering diversity of characteristics of every student, had adopted every student’s request, educators would have to spare every effort to satisfy them, which is ridiculousand arduous. Secondly, many students cannot really exactly know what they want.Take for instance a student who dislikes major curriculums such as mathematicsand physics. He or she might inform educators that major curriculums should be superseded by other interesting courses such as drawing which benefit students little. In this case, without understanding what students certainly want, educators should not decide curriculum merely through students’ advice.
To sum up, before determining curriculum based on students’ inclination, educators ought to deliberately take into account the feasibility of change of curriculum and validity of students’ ideas. As educators play a significant role instudents’ individual development, rather than arbitrarily follow students’request, they are supposed to correlate current situation with students’feature and to reasonably make decision.-- by 会员 wenye1213 (2012/4/3 12:58:06)
