真心求选校Gatech MSQCF vs Fordham MSQF

想在美国留下的话，fordham赌一把。想回来的话，gatech名气大一些，很少有人知道fordham

Gatech:项目综排专排都不错。地点不如nyc。
对两个项目毕业生就业情况不是很了解。。。

It is very nice to see a potential tech lady here I am from the QCF program in Gatech. I dont know that much about the fordham. But I think they are totally different programs. Tech's program s more technically based. And F's I think s just a different way to say msf Cus there ll be MFE career fair holded by NYU every Oct. I have been there, but fordham s not included in the invitation lists. Thus I think they r not really Quant Fin program.  And our program doesnt need any work experiences. 70% of all the students r young students without work experiences from China

Another point, you would like to get a job here. I will say its sooooooooo hard now. But I dont know about 2 yrs later. If I know that, Obama should invite me to white house n talk with me hahaha. JK. In tehc the intern opportunities r not that much. N companies ll prefer guys with CS or Math background. I think F may be better in location. But I think based ont their reputation. Its also not a easy thing to get a position in the City. There r NYU, CMU, UC. If u get an offer from one of these three univs, u should go without hasitate. But F s really not that famous even in NYC. I think the CUNY's bs s better than theirs.

I would like to say that u should have your own choices. But if I were u, I will give up both these two ads. The economics here s really not good. And the tuition for international students r extremely high. I dont think its  a GOOD TIME to come here. The first choice ll be CMU, second NYU, and the third one s stay in China for 2-3 yrs, then come here for an MBA. I know that u wont hear from me. But its the truth. 80% s that u learnt some Quant skills. But its far more not enough for a Quant position. But u have alreay paid $50000-$60000 tuition. Then go back to China or HK China

I know it's really very hard to find jobs, but I didnt have such high expectation, just a job issuing H1B is enought to me. Sometimes, I need to balance life and work as a women~~~

说的很务实，美国找工作确实难现在 fordham在nyc 工作机会还是多点吧 CUNY确实当地口碑好

果断投Gatech，因为这两个学校在华尔街找到工作的难度……几乎差不多，都很不容易。Gatech你还可以在南方碰碰运气，Fordham基本上出了纽约就没人认得了
