In most professions and academic fields,imagination is more important than knowledge.

Write a response in which you discuss theextent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing andsupporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/orexamples that could be used to challenge your position.

Along with the rapid development of oursociety, creativity and imagination becomes more important than ever beforesince millions of new problems appear in our everyday life, from the whitepollution to global warming, or from a price competition to a financial crisis.Each of them requires staffs in variety fields to come up with novel ideas todeal with them. However, the significant role played by knowledge can equallynot be ignored. Without basic knowledge, none could be able to propose practicemethods to improve our life.

First off, our society need imaginationserving as a propeller for advancement. Review the long history of human race,almost every big progress was accompanied by certain fascinating imagination.Without Wright brothers’ whimsy of flying into sky, plane might not come intobeing at that time, leaving later people enormous inconvenience. Imagination,though abstract, portrays a brighter future for humans, motivating them to trytheir maximum effort to achieve such goal. Someone might argue that in somecertain field, imagination has little value. What a bank clerk need is far fromimagination but only give their clients most satisfactory services. Likewise,as an account, the last thing they are expected to do is to record the datawith their imagination. However, we can't repudiate the function of imaginationjust because of these narrow exceptions. Especially in our modern life nowadays,imagination is  urgently needed than anytime before. How to utilize already rare energy more efficiently? How tocontrol and reduce the emissions of car? Empirical experiences inform us thatold methods couldn't reach the expectation of people. We are indeed seeking forcreative measures to tackle them, which requires the imagination of all.

However, the statement underestimates theimportance of basic knowledge, which will lead to a disastrous consequence. Asknown to us, basic knowledge should be cornerstone of imagination. Everythingmust obey the natural law. One of example of this issue is perpetual machine.It is an amazing idea to creating a machine that can produce energy spontaneouswithout any input of other forms of energy, but it is also impossible becausesuch thing breaks the law of energy conservation. No matter how creative aperson is, without being equipped with basic knowledge, all of his imaginationsis nothing more than a unrealistic dream. It is hard for us to imagine how agifted composer writes a song without learn basic music knowledge before andhow an imaginative artist draws a picture without the knowledge of relationbetween shadow and light.

As for the question that whetherimagination or knowledge is more important, in my part, knowledge is anindispensable part to pave way for one to success. The extent of beingimaginative to which one is required depends on the profession one takes. Ifone is an artist or a musician, under the premise that he or she has masteredall relevant knowledge, imagination is a more crucial factor aiding him or herlead to achievement since it is imagination that distinguishes them fromothers. While if one work as a bank clerk or an account as mentioned above, themost vital attribute for them is to learn basic knowledge well becauseimagination does little help for them.

Insum, to our society as a whole, knowledge and imagination are equallyimportant, while to an individual, everyone need basic information of his orher field, whether the importance of imagination exceeds that of knowledge, itis up to what job one takes 选这篇是因为这个INSTRUCTION... 我的理解就是要穿插让步...但是想了半天,也就掰了红色那一段...
这篇写的算是平衡观点,还是说这样的instruction写单方面的,然后其中一段或一部分写些让步就好??求指点!!

第一句话就很别扭。。。。
单复数不分，becomes, life,,,,,,
两个from没有很强的概括性，a price competition, a financial crisis用得别扭不专业。。。

作者需要每天到CD狂练习了。。

对于这个我建议啊，想象力在某些领域的重要性很突出，而在某些领域不突出，靠知识和经验，这可以作为两段，第三段谈谈知识和经验与想象力的关系，想象力是建立在一定的基础上的，并且更多时候是共同作用而不是孤立的，也许这样就不会像你写的这么难受了

对于这个我建议啊，想象力在某些领域的重要性很突出，而在某些领域不突出，靠知识和经验，这可以作为两段，第三段谈谈知识和经验与想象力的关系，想象力是建立在一定的基础上的，并且更多时候是共同作用而不是孤立的，也许这样就不会像你写的这么难受了
