这道题可以迅速排除A,C,和D.但是在B和E之间我有些迷糊。诚然看了其它帖子里的讨论，E作为正确选项我是接受的。但是对于B，我当时理解成的句子结构是The greatest road system...was the Incan highway, 至此svo齐全，然后over...和extended...都是作为后置定语修饰the Incan highway的。没绕出来我这个想法的错误在哪里，请大家指教！非常感谢！

其实这句话里面还是有内部联系的，over 2500 miles, 所以伴随结果就是捏 从xx延伸到xx了，而b是没有这个意思的。另外b的这个, and extended 中的extended和谁并列呢，并且extended用被动也是不对的。

嗯嗯，“over 2500 miles, 所以伴随结果就是捏 从xx延伸到xx了 ” 这个说法对的。自己刚才也复习了一下过去分词做后置定语的情况，如果过去分词做后置定语，那过去分词和它所修饰的词之间是被动的关系，那么"highway"被"extend"就肯定不对了。看来还是基本功太不扎实了@@，感谢回复和提示！
