感觉没看到这么复杂的同位语，一点也不理解，如果就近的话，each不是应该直接修饰了religious havens，逻辑上就错了

some formed as commercial ventures, others as religious havens，我看成了独立主格，做补充插入成分。

但是注意到一个问题，明显thirteen original colonies，和each 之间数量上不对等。

刚才又想，其实同位语和独立主格一样，这样PREP语法笔记说的就对了

中间那部分是独立主格结构，结构就清楚很多了

类似于：they each put forward proposal.
each 作同位语 they 做主语，谓语用复数。

同位语和独立主格一样？？？

不一样的啊，中介的那个两个部分是插入语了，对Colonies进行解释说明的作用

所以排除一下就是A了吧，但是我觉得那个each也确实有歧义啊.....感觉好像是在说heaven一样

这个确定是插入语，和你上面的句子结构划分是一样的，你在读句子的时候，可以直接先拿掉那一部分，不会影响原句的意思
