标普~我还以为有机构另搞了什么排名呢~
我觉得你说的非常对，这也是我的担心：在米国时间越长在中国的人脉就渐渐流失，最怕的是在那边学习工作了几年回来发现高不成低不就，国内有的企业对海龟不很感冒，也许那时候发现自己还没有应届本科生有竞争力呢。这就悲剧了~

转帖:《福布斯》及《U.S. News & World Report》多家美国大学排名涉嫌提交伪造数据
根据英国《泰晤士报》教育专栏及美国《华盛顿月刊》和维基揭秘网的调查，在《福布斯美国大学排名》及《U.S. News & World Report》美国大学排名》中由于参与排名的院校和部分机构工作人员有舞弊及篡改数据的行为使一些水准较低的学校排名偏高影响了美国其他学校的教学和招生。目前，参与篡改的调查人员及大学工作人员已被审查及停职。据相关人士透露部分学校虚报信息目的在于提升学校排名以达到招收更多只注重排名的外国留学生尤其是亚洲学生，而对本国学生影响却不是很大。早在去年美国著名的文理学院克莱蒙特·麦肯纳学院(Claremont McKenna College)就因连续5年虚报入学学生SAT分数而被揭露，而今年更有多家美国高院校因篡改排名信息被曝光。多所美国高等院校招生官也提醒外国留学生尤其是亚洲留学生在一方面注重学校排名的同时还要更多的注重学校的时效性以及学校的口碑，更要选择一些适合自己的院校。如果在申请学校前先前往校园体验教学和参观将更有利于学生了解学校以及增加录取率。     据调查，在位居前十位的美国院校虚报率排行榜中文理学院（LAC）系统占据了10个席位，而综合性大学(University)则占据7个席位。其中不乏一些在世界家喻户晓的明星级大学，其中涉及虚高的数据包括院校参与福布斯与U.S. News & World Report的排名时所填写的信息。

应试教育让中国学生过分的看重排名。。。。sigh。。。海归的应届毕业生和国内的没啥区别，没人会因为你是名校多给你加几千元人民币。理性看待学校在当地的口碑以及所读项目的品质才是王道

Bingo!看看网上描述的海龟找工作的经历就知道了,当然,大牛牛牛们不在此列.
不过向这些"软实力"的东西很难查到啊,除非能联系上在那边的同学.不知道还有什么好的渠道和方法木有?

楼上这么多人，难道就没有一个想到去查证一下这篇消息的真伪吗？很容易能看出来是假新闻的呀！这么多消息源，你随便去查一家都能看出问题来，除了Claremont McKenna College在2月份爆出的丑闻，其他几所 根本没有牵涉到吧。。。唉。。。今天刚在人人网上看到这个假新闻，CD上就有了。。。

在一个吧里看到的。所以很希望已经在美国的同学的给些建议和意见。但是我确实认为USNEWS是不太全面的ranking，不应该作为选校的唯一标准。

我都是找目标学校的前辈问的，甚至有招生办的老师主动给我在读学生的联系方式让我和他们取得联系，了解学校情况。

哈哈 USNEWS的排名都是参考啦，也不会影响我决定，但这个新闻应该是上一年的了，因为数据都是沿用的是上一年的
其实假如这样算，每所学校或多或少都会吧，rice, nd, uva, ucla都是米国人心中的牛校就是了
