我有个和楼上相似的问题，these 可以作代词吗？为何这题说不行。在80题中，those 怎么又可以作代词呢？81题og的解释里都把those作代词。the plural pronoun those

这道题目，如果用these做代词，是不能指代the poor的（复数名词），故错误

those是可以做代词的，但是我没有看到过these的指代，假设遇到此中情况，用it/that不更好一些么？

一些平常的小总结，可能会有些帮助：

一般指示代词中，指代复数名词用(those/ones/they)，单数名词用(it/one)，不可数名词用(it/that)

个人意见：我认为熏衣草说，“this/that/these/those 如果作为代词单独出现就是错”是对的。

前面有同学指出的149的反例，是因为those后面加了介词短语的，介词短语作定语表界定，相当于限制性定语从句。

这一题并非单独使用的，THOSE在这里指代的是LAND VALUES，后面有outside the pinelands来限定修饰。

此题THAT后有OF短语做限定修饰，指代的是COURAGE。

OG79中因为要特指THE RURAL POOR，不能以单独出现的THESE（表泛指含义）来指代。而在OG中出现的一些其他比较题中，THAT/THOSE加上限定修饰，是可以作为代词来指代前面陈述过的事物的，以上两题则是例子。

在GMAT语法中，consider在做regard as意义使用时，只能直接加双宾。

即是consider sb. sth.的形式。
