突然对and 的用法恍惚了，我知道E选项的错误在于不平行以及 infrequently enough

用的不地道。

我想问的是 可否 把 and 前后的两句话 看成平行，即两个句子的平行，然后在sleeps 的前面加 and 构成小平行？？我只明确知道 and 可以连接两个名词构成小平行，比如 apple and banana，那么hangs from trees by its long rubbery limbs and sleeps 15 hours a day这样的平行可以么？只从语法角度讲，我知道句意上有很大改变。

我认为是可以的。E的问题在于and it中这个it是多余的，如果在sleep前面加了个and，就可以认为这两句是平行的。单纯从and的用法上说是没有问题的。

不可以，因为hangs和moves本身在逻辑上就不是平行关系。一切语法点是服务于语义的，不能单纯的说语法对了就对了，要先看语义对不对。

之所以用moving infrequently enough...是因为作者的意思是【sloth倒挂并睡很久，这样导致的结果是动的很少从而都长藻了】

所以第三个动词move和前面两个动词并不是在逻辑上的平型概念，不能单纯构成三者平行。

我懂您的意思，可是我就是想问一下and 的用法，
subject verb1... and verb2 ...   有这种用法么，有点恍惚。。。也就是两个动作共用一个主语，可以用 and 连接么？
额...自己找到答案了...是可以的

if you remove "it", then the parallelism in (e) would become legitimate.

it has a slightly different meaning, though. in that case, all three of the verbs would be parallel, meaning that these are three separate actions of equal importance.  there isn't sufficient context to decide between this meaning and the meaning of (d).

also, even with this correction, (e) would still exhibit an idiom error ("enough that...")
