看一个例句：

Tourist trips of all kinds in Britain rose by 10.5% between 1977 and 1987.

这里面的 between 1977 and 1987很明显不是修饰10.5%的。

再看一个：Between 1914 and 1920 large parts of Albania were occupied by the Italians...

注意的是这里的between 1876 and 1904是时间状语，不同于N between B and C +N这样的结构。

我也觉得between应该修饰construction，要是放在后面就有歧义了！

而且有明显的过去时间状语必须用一般过去时

弱弱的问一句，时间状语不是应该用来修饰整个句子，或者是动词，在这里也就是led，怎么变成可以修饰名词了？？

对于时间状语的修饰和地点状语的修饰一直弄得不是很清楚，有没有什么相关连接可以让我弄清楚？？

是在说他举的例子都是时间状语

而这题的between是做定语从句修饰construction吗?

跟

(Concerns about public health) (have led to)( the construction of three separate sewer systems between 1876 and 1904 )(to serve）

的差别在一个做状语一个做定语吗?

那要怎么区分是做状语还是做定语啊

我推测B选中between可以做定语修饰construction也可以做状语修饰后面的to serve,所以会造成歧义,而选项A

(Concerns about public health)( led to )(the construction between 1876 and 1904 of three separate sewer systems )(to serve)

则排除了这个歧义,故比B好

是这样吗?????

between and 修饰有歧义，可能修饰led，就像C的错误。 而A中sth between 1876 and 1904 of这个结构就不可能出现错误了。 个人感觉
