[求助]我目前在新加坡四大，申请M国如何？

十分迷茫，请各位大虾指教！！！

我ACCA毕业后在新加坡四大事务所做审计,是新加坡永久居民,申请美国MACC或MBA哪一个比较好（从在美国就业上说）?如果我考到CFA资格会有怎样的帮助？另外因为经济后盾不足有得到financial aided可能吗?（听说只有TOP 10才给吧？）

don't do MAcc. with ur experience in Singapore, you should be able to do a rotation in the U.S. and then try to stay permanently. That way, you don't waste time to get a MAcc and lose your seniority. If you get a Macc, you will probably join a big 4 at a staff level again.

go for a MBA at a top school

but  I had analyse the way u give me since start working in big 4, that's 1 year before, because many people thinking have oppotunities to be transfered to usa but such oppotunity is quite few and normally local singapor citizen  will absolutely competitive than us.so that's why I try to go there by myself...........

I am also considering CFA if give up USA......but also don't know whether or not a good idea

I think you want to come to the U.S. because of the better opportunities. I can tell you that such opportunities don't exist in the accounting field.

You may get a higher pay in the U.S. But at the same time, it's more expensive to live here.

It may be easier to get a job in accounting, but it doesn't mean that it will be something you want to do for the rest of your life.

So if you are thinking about taking the CFA, you should probably work in the transaction services group (if you are not already working there) or some other practices that are more finance related. Get a 1 year experience, the go for your top MBA.

I agree with ur idea, actually accounting is quite boring and no creative, I think this isn't choice for people with success aspiration so that's why I am seeking other ways......      this night I had communicated with an elder brother who is also woking in singapore but IT field , he is wrriting eassy to applying top 10 MBA and also give me same idea like yours. now I prefer MBA already.........

then if choosing MBA, the future way is management,right?

not really. The higher paid jobs require you to sell. Just like the partners in big 4s, management consultants, bankers all have to generate revenue to justify their high salaries.
