I submitted the application on the last day of the deadline, Jan 15. I also think that by now if I still haven't heard from them I'm on the ding list. I wanted to go to Stern.

i am based in US, US citizen. does it make a drastic difference? are international applicants reviewed first? i saw on gmatclub some people have already got the invite. i am concerned very concerned!
this has been my status since 1/15. And i have not received any missing material email so all the materials have been received by them:

Chinese in the US pool is a totally different story compared to those in the mainland China pool. I don't think Stern has a specific review order in terms of geographic location. Based on the history of R1, Stern seems doing a relatively slow process. Also, the school has already released some dings. So if you haven't got any news yet, it means that your application is still under review. Wait and hope until the initial notification!
