As you already have a job, I suggest you go to USC. UM has high ranking just because it has high placement. UM is popular in midwest and most companies from midwest go there for recruiting. Their accouting faculty team are not that strong. USC has several most influential professors in accouting industry and keep in touch with them is definitely a advantage in long term career development. USC is the only school with MACC program in westcoast. Stanford, UCB, UCLA, CIT are competitive but do not have accounting program. BTW, I graduated from ND and currently waiting for admission of an accounting PhD from USC. -- by 会员 academic (2012/3/2 3:09:23)
Best of luck on you PhD!
Oh, great, it seems that u r pretty familiar with these two programs or at least you have some of ur own ideas, so can you be more specific? Honestly, I am not too picky about the accounting program coz in the long run I may not work in this profession. However, I am more concorned about which school will be more beneficial for long term career development in the biz world. Thanks~~
BTW, there are tons of people from ND working here at EY chicago, overwelmed by them, LOL~~ |
