There were several precedents that secured CMU and OX admissions in the previous years.
Guess I should be counted out from them, sadly (⊙o⊙).

That's clearly not what I was trying to say.
LSE is in the same tier with OX and Cam, enjoys the same reputation in the financial firms in the city.
The competition of MSCF program of CMU is insanely  fierce.
You know what, a guy with three years WE(quantitative, of course) in the Federal Reserve got rejected  after conducting the campus interview. I was there, shocked like WTF why there were so manny technical geeks in a financial(basically) program! Cecilia is of course one of them, a mathematical geek.
Anyway, good luck with your CMU WL.

Finance is about perception, and mathematics and programming are buttresses "solidifying" that perception.

Agree with that.
People in the CMU admin office told me their philosophy is like admitting a quant geek first, and then nurture him or her into someone with leadership or PERCEPTION, in your words.

每个问题想2-3个点，然后用简单句型串起来就行..
我周围用模板背句型的朋友貌似分不高，可能太流利听起来没有口语的感觉吧..
