答案是Ａ，despite后面不是要跟句子的吗？

Ｄ，JUST AS的比较从句应该放在ＴＨＡＴ后面才对．

Ｅ的are和the number of 主谓不一致，怎么感觉每个都有错呢？

despite是个介词，只能跟名词结构，不能跟句子；just as的位置没有你说的这种要求；E的确是错。

请NN指点一下，E中的错误我主谓不一致的错误我确实没有看到，犹豫了一下后选了E

现在知道E的错误

但是还有2个疑问，1, despite只能跟n.那么E的接法Despite the fact that...和A中的despite the growing number...有什么不同么?

2.我之所以选E也是因为看到了E后面的那个would,我觉得好象这题说的只是一个可能性，用would是不是会比用will更好呢?

但从优化句子的角度来看，我觉得应该将A的前半部分和D的后半部分结合起来。

但话说回来，如果真是那样，也就降低了这题的难度了。。。

Just as…., so…为固定用法，考此种题型时，just as(似乎)通常放句首。
