Emory has big names in Asset pricing and has a lot of reputation in finance. If you get an offer from Emory, you should definitely choose it over other two programs. But GSU has a rising finance department and their PhD program is very solid. They have putted a lot of resources in PhD students and placed their students very well compared to same level programs. here is the pointThe faculty there care about PhD students very much, which is fundamentally important. Personally, I look good for GSU's program: it will become better in next 5 years. If you have offers from GSU and other comparable programs, I would suggest GSU. You can choose either empirical asset pricing or corporate finance there. Also, Atlanta is a nice place to live. I'm not from GSU -- by 会员 twopenguins (2012/4/7 8:47:15)
