Hello my friend. The fact that you already have the Greencard will be VERY helpful for you. It will save you some heartache that is for sure. But still, Round 3 is going to be difficult for you. If you can, I would recommend that you DO wait til next year. Why? Well NYU is not very Chinese friendly anyway. So it will be tough for you. Now, it IS possible. It will all come down to two things: 1) how many Chinese have already accepted at NYU. And this is hard to say, since Round 2 results aren’t in yet. So we cant control this. 2) your creative essay. Do you have a creative streak? You think you can NAIL this piece? If yes…then you may have a shot. Not a GREAT one, but a shot. So this is what you have to think about.
