It does help. Do you mind an update a couple of days later? After those who have received the invites in the same wave with you pick up their slots. The remained unoccupied may be indicative of the final wave.

I think it is because those people who just received invites are still sleeping and haven't registered the spaces yet.

Yep, I saw an us applicant on GC reporting Shanghai hub had four-eight slots unoccupied after the first wave.
I've been assuming I would get a ding after having no love from hbs in the first wave. So getting nothing last night did not disappoint me. But my friend is still waiting with hope. Never end until the Valentine's Day. LOL
