我又糊涂了,repelled过去分词在句首不是有被动含义么? 应该是sth was repelled...?

如果主句主语是人,这里应该是repelling吧?...往指点

sth is repelling OR sb is repelled 就像interesting/interested,如:


"The smell repelled him."

谢谢解答!

但我觉得sb is interested in sth, 这里interested是adj.,

但sb is repelled好象没有这种用法吧,repelled没有形容词形式,是过去分词. 只有Sb repel dth.我查的一个字典上这样说的.我的longman过期了不能用...郁闷.

哪位有例句之类能共享一下么?

我的一位G友说repelled在句首可以表示主动,过去分词在这里表示过去的动作.

我更糊涂了...我觉得那样就产生歧异了,过去分词在句首到底是被动还是主动就无从判断了啊(特别是过去发生的被动)难道要用been + 过去分词?...

越来越郁闷...

兄弟莫郁闷,小事。

你的G友错也。这里就是被动,repel作为一个及物动词(译作:使反感,使厌恶),为什么就不能用被动呢?这不是歧视吗?找到一个 贝尔法斯特电讯报的例子:

Two days on from St Patrick's Day, what would our rugged, ascetic and truly holy patron saint make of all of us today? He would be repelled by the greed and violence of Ireland, north and south, but he would approve of the courage of those like the McCartney sisters (and many others) who are campaigning for truth and justice

哈哈,多谢!

我的好象理解错了,把quaker党人当作是repel的施动者.

这里是不是应该理解为

Quaker这帮子人的提议受到了其他人的什么绝食静坐之类的抗议?

而不是

Quaker这帮子人通过...等邪教形式抗议,提出了新的提议?

望确认!
