115. Some people prefer to plan activities for their free time very carefully. Others choose not to make any plans at all for their free time. Compare the benefits of planning free-time activities with the benefits of not making plans. Which do you prefer — planning or not planning for your leisure time? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your choice.
Leisure time is an integral part of one’s life. That whether one should carefully plan activities for the free time is always debated. When faced with such decision, quite a few people choose not to make any plans at all for their free time , but others prefer planning carefully and that is also my point. There are, among other things, two main facts which I will explore as follows.
The fact of first-rate importance is the predominant role that planning carefully for the leisure time can be economical, reducing the unnecessary waste in money or in time. Sometimes the recreation is packed and finding a park lot is so difficult, but sometimes the situation is just in the contrast. For instance, on the last National Day my family all went to the Shanghai Wildlife Zoo . But,due to no careful planning, when got there we found so many people crowded for tickets and there were no park lots free for us. Finally, we spent much time as well as a high fee to get one.
There is another factor that desires some words here. To take an activity with friends or relatives, one always takes into account of such problems as when to begin , whom to invite, and where to hold the activity. Without such careful consideration, one would feel a bitter disappointment if some unwelcome things which are predictable occurred .
Of course, not making plan also have advantages to some extent. Having no strict limits coming from the plan ,people could take part in all leisure activities freely. With the spasm of the emotion, they can do whatever the mind catch hold of.. However, these people neglect the fact that in modern society, the possibility of meeting these activities is low and the pleasure produced by such activities is much less than that of the planning activities.
Apparently, from what has been discussed above, it is easy to reach a conclusion that planning activities for the free time outweigh not planning, for people could both find it economical and get more pleasure.
