CKGSB MBA Young Scholar Plan

Criteria

An undergraduate degree in any discipline from a leading university
Good GPA
GMAT score of 730 and above or equivalent GRE score
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Potential for future career success
Prior working experience not required.

Application Fee
Waived for the Young Scholar Plan.

Application Procedure
Prior to each application deadline, applicants shall submit online applications together with copies of the following supporting documents:

Personal statement
Self-introduction PowerPoint deck (5 pages)
Official transcripts
Two recommendation letters
Official GMAT (GMAT code 60D-KJ-39) or GRE score
Declaration form
Two passport-size photos
Awards and/or Honors Certificates

Application Deadline (TBD)
1st Round: March 30th, 2012
Final Round: May 11th, 2012

Interviews
Interviews will be held in Beijing and Shanghai within two weeks after each application deadline. Interviews are by invitation only and are composed of 4 parts:

Interview by a panel composed of CKGSB MBA faculty, alumni and staff
One-to-one discussion with a Career Consultant
Group discussion
Presentation of self-introduction PowerPoint

Application Review & Decision
The MBA Admissions Board will make final decisions after reviewing interview results and comparing between applications. Applicants will be advised of the Board's decision by both regular mail and e-mail within two weeks of the interviews. Decisions may either be an offer, conditional offer, rejection or entry into the waiting list. Scholarship decisions will be made in conjunction with admission decisions.
All candidates are welcome to seek feedback from the Admissions Office after their interview.

Confirmation & Registration Fee
After receiving an offer of placement from the school, applicants have four weeks to accept or decline the offer. Upon acceptance, a Registration Fee of RMB3,000 shall be paid to confirm the place. The Registration Fee will be refunded upon commencement of the program.
