My question is:
1.       What’sthe aim of this question?  To demonstrate my diversity, such as communityservice experience or other interesting extra curriculum or otherhobbies?  Or  to show off my professional strength, such asleadership experience?

2.      I do havesome communities service experience, but how can I link these experiences to mypersonal strength.  Because my community services are related to volunteerwork, such as donating clothes and food to the remote area, taking care oflonely people.   I think I can only demonstrate my commitment to mycommunity, but how can I leverage my person strengths.

所以总体就是强调你的强项，包括professional方面的和业余特长等两个大方面来讲。
然后你的strength的时候， 一方面一定要和MCCOMBS的特点结合起来，并体现你的UNIQUE， 另一方面阐述以往你的STRENGTH是怎么对你的工作生活中如何体现，如果发挥作用使你成长得如此彪悍。

community service也是你的strength啊，充满爱心而且在此过程中可能有些leadership的story

Hey there—sounds like you need to check out our Essay Analysis for USC!  ; )  Happy to offer up some more specific info here tho, no problem.   They are asking about DIVERSITY here.  So both in work and non work experiences, they want to know what UNUSUAL stuff you have done.  Ever worked with someone from a strange country?  A strange industry?  Something unusual?  Don’t just focus on leadership (which of course you will be focusing on in other essays) instead, focus on OTHER, more UNUSUAL aspects of your candidacy. And yes, some of that will have to be community focused.  ersonal strengths can be “commitment to helping others,” commitment to strengthening your community, the ability to reach across borders to communicate, etc.  you just need to be a touch creative…
