我查了章振邦的语法书 P1068

不定式分句表目的时，主语通常是不定式分句的逻辑主语。

在三种例外：

1．  当不定式由for引导的分句

I stopped for him to speak to me.

He opened the door for children to come in.

2．  当不定式分句在bring/send等的动词+宾语之后，

He bought the porter to carry the bag.

They send a man to repair the window.

3．  当不定式分句是被动的时候。

I took my shoes to be mended.

He stood up to be seen better.

另我查了OG中所有的in order to 的逻辑主语都是主语

这题中 从句意上感觉 in order to 的逻辑主语是domestic manufacturers

而是根据语法 应该是指 The prospect of a new wave of automobile

paopao，我认为你的观点有点道理，但是我有点补充，in order to/in order that还有一个比较特殊的地方，即其动作的发出者一般都是人或类似人的东西，比如government等等。在此句中，prospect从语法上的确可以成为in order to的主语，但是manufactures作为子结构的主语也可能成为in order to的主语，重要的是prospect和in order to无法形成逻辑上的匹配；你可以将in order to这个介词结构理解为who are这样一个定从的省略形式。

paopao，不要害怕总结被推翻，因为我们的进步总是螺旋型而不是直线型的，如果你看到我曾经总结的OG就会知道，3遍分类总结的过程其实就是不断推翻和更新的过程。

so as to和in order to有点类似，他们的逻辑主语一般都是前面句子动作的发出者，但是动作的发出者有时并非是主语，比如被动语态，主语可能是被动者而不是施动者；而这里的句子概念有时是有些变化的，一般情况下，句子是指主句，但比如这道题，句子就指子句，所以，so as to或in order to的逻辑主语可以被理解为前面句子动作的施动者，而且，这个施动者是人或类似人的东西。

个人觉得一般in order to 都跟主语, 但这边是个好问题, 所以我觉得看in order to 后面的句子找逻辑主语

PS: 听说250补充题都是些老题(我所谓的老题是很久的, 八几年的).....我上XDF听到, 这些老题有些结构都不是很好.....
