These are the ones I have found so far and I will update this. These figures represent only tuition. Each school has a bunch of misc. fees, but I did not think it was fair listing them. Everything is also in USD. I did a conversion at the time I found the prices so expect there to be a little fluctuation. My personal opinion on these figures? Well on this blog I am going to try and be as unbiased as possible, but for the sake of this post I will get a little opinionated. I think MIT and Princeton are worth what they are charging. MIT I was a little skeptical on, but with the addition of Merton and the program going into its second year I think there will be sufficient ROI to make the tuition price worth it. I think Claremont and Tulane might be a little high. Tulane is asking about 50K for their program and if you look at their placement stats the average salary is in the low 50′s. For 50K I would want a much higher salary. Duke, Boston and UVA are all reasonably priced. John Hopkins and Purdue are decently priced. Syracuse is not worth it if you are just getting an MSF. Villanova is remarkably cheap. I went through the program and know placement stats as well as salary ranges and for 30K you are getting a lot. I am not going to go on a rant, but I think Villanova’s MSF is better than some of the names on that list yet is much, much cheaper. Hope this list helps people out. I will keep it updated. |
