读到划线外 because they 已经给出提示。 我的理解：先找they的指代。从句主语是代词优先指代主句主语。若无法指代主句主语，则指代其他成分。
这道题，主句主语Morocco 为单数，they无法，找其他成分。只有french为复数，they指代french无任何歧义。然后看划线内，their 绝大多数情况和they指代同一词，their这里指代也为french无任何问题。
这道题的考点其实在it： b选项为了避免指代歧义，将without it 提前，使得it 前面只有一个代词可以被他指代，就是主语M。。。如e选项，it前面有两个单数名词且都位于句子主题中，it指代歧义。

这道题出的不烂，without 提前我觉得太经典了！~><~

french不是单数呀，和chinese一样。集合名词，用复数的
