请问the same as结构(我已经彻底糊涂了，还请大家帮忙指导。。）

复习到og80，里面有个the same as结构，我已经彻底confused了。。。

80. Salt deposits and moisture threaten to destroy the Mohenjo-Daro excavation in Pakistan, the site of an ancient civilization that flourished at the same time as the civilizations in the Nile delta and the river valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates.

(A)  that flourished at the same time as the civilizations

(B)  that had flourished at the same time as had the civilizations

(C)  that flourished at the same time those had

(D)  flourishing at the same time as those did

(E)   flourishing at the same time as those were

og中解释说：did in D and were in E are awkward and unnecessary， the same as是不是应该平行结构呢，既然civilization that flourished ，那么后面的the civilizations也应该相应的是fourished巴，如果把D改成（the site of an ancient civilization） that flourished at the same tiime as the civilizations did in the Nile delta....的话，是不是就对了呢？？

偶又查了longman dictionary, 里面有个例句1)She was born on the same day as me,(2）He gets the same pay as me but he gets his own office.  好像这边的as 也没有什么平行结构的吗？？  不行了，我已经完全糊涂了，the same as到底是个什么结构，应该怎么用呢？？   还请大家帮忙指导指导啊！不胜感激！

明白些了，谢谢perpetual! 可是longman例句中 He gets the same pay as me but he gets his own office. 的me怎么解释呢？感觉应该是“I （do)”才对啊...

GMAT语法中，do或者be动词应该尽量补全，确保类比对象之间的可比性。我做这道题的时候也有些困惑，但是其余4个选项都有明显错误，所以只好选a

我提一下我的看法,GMAT中的DO或BE的补全问题,我个人认为应该遵循以下原则:

如果不补全会引起歧义,逻辑上的缺陷,语法上的漏洞,和其它不和谐的因素时,就应该补全;
否则,就不画蛇添足.(当然前提是没有其他的语法语义问题)

應該是省略了did沒錯

你第一個問題還原原句寫的應該是正確的

至於你找longman字典，she was born at the same day as me.這還是有平行呀，she 是和me平行呀，雖然我覺得me改成I 可能會更好
