Congratulations to you if you got Cornell! Which much better schools are you referring to here? Provided that Cornell is also a leading MBA school + one of Ivy League. I would think it can be risky decision because not every school welcomes re-applicants.

Well, I believe you must have some reasons for not applying your dream school this year. I think you may need to consider whether a one year delay in all your personal/professional plans is acceptable.
