D为什么不对，名词必须用名词对应，但是动词不定式也可以做名词啊

one legacy...is the realization表示的是既成事实.

one legacy...is to realize表示将来,不一定实现的.

另外,我记得好象xdf的老师讲过,最好的选项是改错后其它的尽量维持不变,有这回事吗?

还是那个结构：

A is B, A acts as B这样的结构，A和B的逻辑对称很重要。

One legacy不是 to do sth, 而是sth

D中间的when也用的不好，when一般表示一个时点，而用as表示一个时间段，此题中变老就是一个持续的过程，as在此可翻译为：随着。。。，。。。。 （一家之言）

注意句意，legacy是遗产、遗物的意思，既然是遗产，前人所遗留下来的东西，应该是已经completed的东西，是一种结果，而不是一个目的。不定式在GMAT中永远都是表目的，只有名词realization才表示一种结果：已经产生的认知，而不是去认知。
