LANCASTER这个学校如何啊？

听说是英国的三大商学院之一，不过学费也比较高，不知是不是真的物有所值啊？我想学金融专业．谢谢

If u will come back China. U may try a more prestigious University such as IC, LSE and LBS.

Readytosayno, Yes, the school has less influential power when you are landing job in China after graduation, but if you are targeting at pursueing further research and academic career in finance, the LBS is, probably,  the only peer to the school. Besides, the tuition, compared with IC, LSE and LBS, is still relatively cheap.

Anyway, finding a decent job does not really depend on from which school you graduate.

I'm also looking at Lancaster's phd program, which claims to be one of the only three British biz schools rated with 6-stars. Anyone studying there? Shout out and give us a hint！

rongdongc, I get in the program while I am still considering the offer because, you may or may not know, most of UK universities, except LBS, do not providing full scholarship for PhD candidate. For the reputation and research capability, it really deserves the top three, the other two are LBS and Warwick, in UK. Were money not be the issue, it would be a good choice. Last but by no means least, you should aware of the huge difference of training system between UK and US universities. Normally, UK universities, except LBS again, will not offer you the first two yeas coursework training and you may start to do research with your supervisor in your first year. That's the reason why they will ask you to write a sophiscated research proposal with your application.

lancaster isnt a really top uni in england, may be u can try other uni

LBS还是很好的.

不推荐LANCASTER,名不副实. 研究型的U: 牛,剑, LSE;商科BS,其他能不上就不上
