以下这些题都是XDF练习册上的。

1)      Unique among bivalves, scallops swim extremely well, propelled by jets of water expelled while snapped the shell shut.

2)      The developed countries of the world are using up valuable resources at a rate unprecedented human history.

3)      Acclimatization is the process by which an organism adjusts to living in an environment to which it normally unsuited

4)     The planets far from the Sun are so remote from any heat source that their temperatures are thought to be much near absolute zero.

不会，不知怎么做呢

这里是一个主被动的关系了。所以用snapping

2)      The developed countries of the world are using up valuable resources at a rate unprecedented human history.

缺少介词in,而且human划线基本不对。

3)      Acclimatization is the process by which an organism adjusts to living in an environment to which it normally unsuited

which后面应该完整句。此处缺少谓语。

(Which are)Unique among bivalves, scallops swim extremely well, (which are)propelled by jets of water (which is)expelled while (scallops, 主语省略，谓语要变成现在分词)snapped the shell shut.

大致意思：扇贝是奇特的双贝类，它们游泳很出色。由于突然闭合贝壳产生的水喷推动了他们的前进。

这里我发现一个问题，就是"shut"的使用，个人认为是做adj，表示snap动作的结果。不知对否？类似于The wings are shaped smooth.
