blueberryhorse, 1. No matter what's your background, choose an area which interests you. Accounting or finance? Have some understandings to these areas first to see which one interests you more. 2. If you have decided to pursue a certain area, prepare yourself well for the application. If one person tells you that accounting is easy, it doesn't mean that it's easy. If the other suggests that finance is easy, it doesn't mean that it's easy too. The most important thing is to have an internal compass and make the decision yourself. If you really want to do sth., you can make it no matter how hard it is. 3. I used to be an English major, I am studying accounting now. Application is hard, but just as I mentioned, well-prepared yourself from many parts, like having a good GMAT score (for accounting), GPA, taking some accounting courses. |
