I prefer A because 'since' can be preposition.

agree with stoneren. In longman dictionary,

"Unemployment is now at its lowest point since World War II." So if Robert Boyle can represent a time of period, since Robert Boyle is reasonable.

In B, his envisioning is too vague. Also a critique of ... as well as a vision of... is perfectly parallel.

B肯定错.问题太多了, and also重复,HIS指代有问题.那个天山真题不要做了,垃圾题目甚多,答案解释荒谬.

天山题的确有点问题，辨证地看看就可以了，要做也早点做，不要做模考，pumpkin好像是考前2天做的，V错14个，把她郁闷坏了，不过大牛最后还是考了760，由此可见可能天山的思路有点差异。
