As you can see from our admissions requirements on our website and on the admissions application, we only accept the TOEFL test.  
If I can be direct, based upon your email below, your command of the English language seems severely poor.
After the application deadline, we will invite applicants, based upon their admissions application, for an interview.

我觉得人和人不一样吧，想想我们在中国也有很多说话不太客气的教务员。

我不是英语专业出身，但是大学的时候我的英语演讲录音被我们学校外语系教授拿给他们自己专业的学生鉴赏。我从小到大最自信的就是英语了，特别是口语。

但Julie有她的道理，我那天发邮件给她，有很多错误，不是因为我英语不好，而是我太着急怕错过IMC的面试，但是这种发邮件不认真的态度我一定要检讨。

同时，因为IMC毕竟应该是掌握比一般的美国人还要好的英语，看来这封邮件我会对自己说，我要走的路还很长。我觉得可能这就是顶级名校aggressive的文化吧——教务员也是如此。

楼上说要和Julie面试的同学当心点，因为我能看得出来她回是一位非常坦率的中年女性。

是的，我雅思7.5，但在Julie面前真是一文不值啊……
我也想报托福，但美国人是真心不知道我们在中国托福抢不上考位……IMC是理想的专业，没办法我就这么错过了，而且又得罪了Julie……
好在IMC是强调工作经验的专业，我相信如果明年再申，申请砝码就更重了。
同学我看到你被西北录取了，真心恭喜你！

Medill就是相当难说话啊，学校牛了脾气也就大了吧。。。我昨天填IMC网申的时候面试已经满了，然后给他们发邮件，今天收到了回复如下

Thank you for your message and interest in Medill! Interview timeslots have been posted since September! I’m sorry you were unable to secure a timeslot prior to now… There may be additional timeslots added, however, I am unsure of how many/when.  If you are unable to secure a timeslot, your application will be reviewed without the interview and you may be invited to interview after the deadline by the Admissions Committee…

然后我上网立马搜，果然有啊！！旋即注册，也马上收到了自动回复，说成功注册了，提醒上传resume，到时候见啊～～然后10分钟之后收到了如下邮件：

This interview is unfortunately no longer available.  lease search for another time.  If you are unable to register, please submit your application by December 1st and the admissions committee will extend an invitation to interview if necessary.
