選材疑惑What did you learn from your most spectacular failure?

這題不知道選哪各題材比較好?想請教大家和Jon Frank!
題材一:在我第一次負責指導兩個新event planner時,我過於直接的說話方式和嚴厲的要求讓大家關係緊張,其中F小姐和我工作外幾乎不說話.我覺得挫敗並且不解,直到y小姐告訴我她並非不理解我的求好心切,只是心情上還是沮喪.我了解到人個性上的差異,leadership並不只是冰冷的sop,而是站在別人的角度並且理解人的差異所在.這件事改變了我的leadership style和溝通方法.在工作和生活中,每當有爭執或者任何不如預期時,我都開始習慣於從不同的角度來看待問題,而不是假設某種觀念是真理.
之後被任命為co-projectmanager時,我卻發現團隊效率低落,並且抱怨工作.這次我決定直接去了解組員的想法和心情,在和team members談過後發現因為組織結構是依個人同時負責好幾各案子的同一種職責,導致大家不願未任何一個特定案子投入過多心力.我大膽向manager提出重新分配,每個案子由固定的幾個人一起,解決了問題.
題材二:曾在美國大峽谷暑期工讀,One day, a customer yelled at me because I misunderstood him. I wasembarrassed and helplessly turned to my supervisor for assistance. My kindcolleges tried to comfort me by blaming the man for his rudeness and lack ofempathy, but I knew he was merely an impatient person with no intent to insultme.I realized that if I wish to study or work in the States someday, I should notpassively look for empathy but actively adapt to the local culture andlanguage. It’s unwise to blame otherpeople or circumstances for problems you may face.之後終於克服了口語的障礙..... I learned to never underestimate myself and never give up beforetrying your best, and most of all, to embrace change and challenges that willmake you stronger.(哈我承認這是我別篇essay撿來的)

題材一是工作上的,不知道這樣寫會不會造成adcom的觀感我leadership上有缺失?第二各題材怕太小不夠格當做spectacular failure?
