这个说改变句意lz大概能明白，本句的意思是说Chalice被别人烧来防止被偷走，而不是Chalice 自己烧自己防止被偷走，但是，为什么会少一个it 呢？是说要改成原句的意思就要加it还是说这个表达本身就ungrammatical? 如果句意就是 Chalice 自己烧自己防止被偷走 那还需要加it吗？

如果改成主动： someone buried Chalice to keep it from being stolen
                         加it 是因为keep和avoid的主语和宾语是不一样的
然后变回来 Chalice was buried to keep it from being stolen

为什么用avoid就是自己防止，而keep就不是呢？
如果用avoid加上it就对了吗
