答案选的C 可是its不是和前面为划线的it 指代不一致么？？一个是climate on the earth 一个是sea level

这道题考点还是歧义。
B, D, 和 C （更正：E）项中的about 60 feet，直接跟在现在海平面高度之后，容易引起歧义：到底是60feet是提高的量，还是现在海平面高度？
A项中的raise有误，应该用被动，或直接使用rise.

见过其他的说法：（比如新东方白勇老师的书）
over and about冗赘
海平面作为主语，用被动(即be raised)不妥,。
感觉这些问题都不是关键。
ETS在从原文中（比如很多new york times的文章）提出句子，给选项的时候有的时候会故意把句子改得很蹩脚，但是都不足以成为排除的关键原因。

抱歉刚才写错了，应该是E项中60feet直接跟在’现在的海平面‘之后
一开始错写成了‘C’。
已经改过来了。呵呵
