The government should focus more on environmental problems and less on economic development
There are abundant of problems that our governments have to tackle down, educations, environmental problems, economic development etc. due to the complex connections, it is hard to solve any of them separately. As an adage said “Specialist only master his own field.” Our governments must focus on parts of those problems. Under this circumstance I would recommend economic development instead of environmental problems.
However, we cannot overlook the significance of environment. Countries, both developed and developing, had aware the crisis of global warming and pay more attentions on reducing the exhaust of greenhouse gases. This reflects what is the way environment affect us. It benefits us both physically and psychology if we have a good living condition.
Though environment is quite important, the paramount thing is own a living condition rather than own a better condition. There are plentiful of people who are facing scarce of food supply (starve), unclean water provided, risky of losing job and homeless to old, even in developed countries. That is the reason why we should focus more on economic development. Sarcastically, it is hard to imagine a pauper begging for a suit instead of a meal. We should be worldly and desires for basic living come first. Especially in this situation, the influence of world financial crisis has not passed away, the major assignment is to maintain the value of money and control inflation.
What is more, it turns out that our living conditions will have a huge improvement with the help of well development of economic. The government may have more funds under this condition. This may stir up the policy maker to reconsider the position of environmental problems. There may be more money to distribute to make our environment health and clean. From the perspective of citizen, higher salary release their tension, they may pay a bit more attentions on worldwide environment and people who are encountering living problems. Then, we can unite in a concert effort to make the world a better place for our off-springs.
Finally, I want draw a conclusion and reiterate my viewpoint that the development of economic is prerequisite of ameliorate environment. |
