再讨论og67中in order that的问题

看了og讨论连接里面的内容，深受启发，但是由一个问题请大家确认。

C,og的解释是不精确不合语法之类的话，没讲什么实际内容。前面的讨论已经说了,C少了can。我想求证：

x give/grant/provide y sth so that it can do ~~

x give/grant/provide y sth in order that it can do ~~

前一句的it指代y, 后一句的it指代x，是不是这样？谢谢大家！

1，so that和in order that后面不会有指代的不同，表目的时，in order that 和 so that意思是一样的，只是in order that更加正式。so that可表结果和目的，可以加或不加情态词。in order that只是表目的，所以一般须加情态词，不加in order that就是unidiomatic。

2，ETS的指代不能和他较真，ETS经常出语法上有2个指代对象的题目，看来ETS认为语义上指代清晰即可。

3，实际上，严格讲这一题的语法指代也是唯一的，只在不定式to provide后找。

我觉得so that 和in order that 表示目的时都应该加情态动词，表示一种愿望（一家之言）
