关于essay的topic选择

最近在准备MIT的申请，essay3中的题目是Please describe a time when you had to make a decision without having all the information you needed. (500 words or fewer, limited to one page)。对于这样的题目，能不能写一些和工作无关而是纯个人的decision，比如对于自己人生所作的决定？不知道选择这样的topic是不是符合MBA admission的要求？

Hello my friend.  The answer to your question is that by all means, YES, you can write one essay (per MBA application) that is not work related.  In fact, we recommend that you do!  Now, if you do choose to tackle the essay this way, you will wanna make sure that aaaall your other essays will be work related—especially for MIT.  They love hearing about your past, more than your future, by the way.  But one personal essay is perfect—so go for it!   Good luck.
