Mark Seasholes got his PhD from Harvard but started his academic career at Haas before moving to HKUST. They are all very good professors.

CUHK is way behind now. HKU is nothing really

CUHK have the strongest alumni network. HKUST have better professor.

Students from those three schools have a lot connections via events. They all look professional and mature.

教授 – CUHK

CUHK 的教授分布是两线并行 ， 一半是学者 ， 一半是商界实战人材 。
教授们都很nice and friendly ，教学水平有严格的考核标准 ，由学生们亲自填写评卷 ，宗旨就是由顾客来监管服务质量 。

商学院规模很大 ， 各系老师合共过二百 ， 现在简单盘点几位大家学习上多接触到的老师 :

• 郎咸平 : PhD Whaton， 大家都知道的「郎监管」， 现在还很活跃
  
• 王泽基 : PhD Oxford ，来中大之前是投行高层 ， 做过高盛伦敦的 Trader &Executive Director， UBS 及 巴克箂资本 的 Managing Director 及亚洲区 IBD structuring 主管 ， 现在是中大全职敎授及MSc Finance 主管
  
• James Mirrlees， 1996年诺贝尔经济学奖得主，长驻中大经济系及金融系多年 ，现兼任中大晨兴书院院长
  
• Leslie Young : PhD Oxford, 很资深的大师 ，CNN 也会访问他 ，可以上网看相关的 video
  
• Michael Ferguson， MBA Program Director ， 所有同学都知道他吧 ， MBA 的头头
  
• 何佳 : PhD Wharton，清华中大合作 MBA 项目的主持 ，也是Center for Chinese Financial Development and Reform的 Director
  
• Kevin Au : PhD UBC， 创业研究中心的专家 ， 很有pop 风格的老师 ，主办很多学生创业计划的比赛 ，也帮助过学生们拿了很多国际奬项
  
• 戴先炽 : PhD INSEAD，新近加入Marketing 的专家 ， 热能工程师背景 ， 视角很独特
  
• Hugh Thomas : PhD NUY，敎Finance 的老师 ， 研究 commercial banking ， 也会去清华教书 ， 三十年前已经常常出入中国的老外
  
• 黄德尊 : PhD UCLA， 他就是商学院的院长
  

中大的特点就是特注重行业实战经验， 找来了一大批行业高层做Adjunct Prof. 来敎学生， 这里简单写几个 :

• Giles Brennard，之前是BCG 的 Partner
  
• Ralph van Put， formerCEO of Saen Options， 金融交易的专家 ，现在统筹中大金融交易实验室的敎学
  
• Eoin O'Shea , ChiefOperating Officer, Credit Suisse Asia Pacific
  
• 许汉忠 ， CEO of HongKong Airport Authority
  
• Alfred Tsoi ， 香港Yahoo 的GM
  
• Kwong Chau Law ， PricewaterhouseCoopers的Partner

郎咸平已经退休了， executive director is not a senior position.

James Mirrlees is great but is 75. Only chinese schools will pay so much to these reitired Nobel Prize winners. no use. just for the name. No US schools would do that. 只有面子没有里子。

Leslie Young is a good economist but do not know much about finance

The best scholar at CUHK now is Lin Chen, who is from U of Florida. Overall, much less well known than HKUST.

小女子认为此说有失偏颇，Mirrlees 敎授不仅仅是一块招牌，他现在天天都去中大上班，为晨兴书院的工作劳心劳力。郎咸平也没有从中大退下来，依然是金融的正教授。Leslie Young 如果不懂 finance ... 怎麽 CNN 把他叫去讲 Curreny Conflicts ?
