Compared with people nowadays,the people in the last decades seem to be more happier than today's because of low productivity.中nowadays 的放置是否地道？还是要用别的词？

Unlike people living nowadays , people several years ago seem to be more happier than those who suffer low producitivity today.

不考虑逻辑，改的，供参考

nowadays完全OK。不过后面那个the people太耀眼了，the不需要啦

把than today's 去掉前后出现两个比较现在的人 awkward and wordy

happier有比较级了我觉得不用加more了吧
另外这句话的逻辑是？因为生产力低下？
