   og上说D的语法正确。但我对that of 仍然不理解。 如果D正确用了that of那么这句话可以简化：personal spending would double that of the 1.4 percent growth rate in personal spending for the pervious quarter.
   这里的that of指代的是 personal spending那么这句话成了personal spending of the 1.4 percent growth rate in personal spending for the pervious quarter了。
那么不是重复了personal spending了么？？？

lz理解的没什么错误，只是OG有的解释也比较模糊。

我的理解是因为前面有expetation,所以肯定要用一个未来语态来表达,比如would,比如will.

我到觉得这里主要是因为that从句较 of...在引导长修饰语的时候更加简洁。 OG后面有很多题目考了这个知识点。 但我还是想不太明白最后加上that of是不是多余？ 很畏惧代词~

假如是D的话，这句话就没有动词了，也就不是一句话了。至于为啥OG说D正确，没深入研究。：）
