Sprite 112, to be honest I do not really know any full-time AGSM Chinese student. Well, maybe JUDAl would be the first one I will get to know soon.
But based on your big4 background, this AGSM MBA would definitely be something to broaden your career path. If I were you, I would consider CEIBS as well coz CEIBS would be able to give you more powerful network in China in the in the scenario of working in Chna in the future.  
AGSM is the only choice for people like me currently staying in Aus but you do have a lot of choices in APAC or US.
But do let me know how I can help if you are still very interested in AGSM program.

Actually, the reason why I choose AGSM is because of my girlfriend. She was granted PR half a year ago and she'd like to stay in Aus for several years to get the citizenship. So, u see, basically AGSM is also the only choice for me.
I plan to work in Aus for several years after gratuation and so I wonder whether AGSM can bring me more opportunities in my future job hunting in AUS. As u know, the fee is a large sum of money, it's not an easy decision for me~hehe~

谢谢LZ啊！今天收到AGSM full-time 2011 Jan的offer。打算申请点奖学金，但是他家最高就免三分之一学费。

我看了一下booklet也问了admission，我应该是不能申请的。它要求必须是citizen，或者有PR但是接受的是bridging study。太可惜啦~~不然这个LOAN很好的……

我想申请AGSM 13年的full time~我在国内读的本科，现在四大工作第三年，GMAT 710，雅思7.5我和admission聊过，她认为我工作年限还是有些短，年纪也有点小~呵呵，你觉得我这background能申请上么？需要在哪方面再加强一些么？

If you are coming to Aus (Sydney) to accompany your girlfriend for getting her citizenship, AGSM would be the best choice. But there is no guarantee that a MBA will get you a job in Sydney. I feel the companies in Australia seek lots of factors from job applicants and the local work experience is definitely one of the most important. It is very fair to say getting the first job in Australia is not an easy task but neither a mission impossible.



I can actually feel some hesitance from your words. Hopefully you will get your way out of this decision-making alley.

I have ever had an internshipin US, so I do know finding a decent job in a foreign country is always a tough task . However, life is always full of challenges, isn't it? haha~  I think what I need is more preparations.

楼主你好！我的专业背景是engineering方面的，现在一家德国制造业的公司做产品经理，已经有将近8年的工作经验，老公是一名civil engineer。 打算申请明年AGSM full-time 的MBA。这样如果申请成功的话，老公可以来澳洲陪读，顺便找一份工作。不知道是否可行？另外如果AGSM MBA毕业后在澳大利亚有希望找到marketing方面的工作吗？多谢指教！

你老公如果以陪读方式登陆澳州，如果还是想从事原来的职业，要做好一定的心理准备，我的意思是可能要花上一段时间来找工作！另外还取决于运气和英语水平。对于非英语国家的移民或者visitor来说，在澳洲找到第一份本专业的工作都是一段波折的人生经历。对于marketing方向的工作，语言要求和本地经验更为重要。所以，如果你的语言过硬，在AGSM读书的时候可以找到marketing方向的internship,对你毕业后找工作肯定是有帮助的。（但PR身份是找工作的前提，MBA对移民帮助不大）

很多人对MBA毕业后能否留在澳洲工作都很关心。
我的建议是：最好不要抱太大的希望，除非在你登录澳洲或者求学期间解决了PR问题。
对于澳洲的移民政策，不去讨论。但至少在现在想单纯的通过MBA移民不是一个容易的事情。而没有PR想去找工作，又是难上加难。除非是绝对的牛人碰到了绝对牛的公司可以提供雇主担保，这是一种毕业留下来的途径。
总之，对那些希望获得海外工作经验的同学们来说，来澳洲读MBA是一个需要仔细考虑的事情，MBA毕业后能留不能留的问题，取决于能否找到工作，而能否找到工作又很大程度上取决于有没有PR,有了PR就又不会担心能留还是不能留。所以，在澳洲获得工作经验的最重要的前提是PR身份。

PR这个东西挺讨厌的，让很多想留在澳洲的人不得不为了PR而去学习一门自己不喜欢的学科，从事一份自己不喜欢的工作。
