33岁移民北美，是读Master好找工作还是读MBA好找工作

这里牛牛太多了，我先敬仰一下。

再介绍一下我的背景，33岁，211大学本科，私企工作3年+外企工作6年；程序员起家，后任系统工程师，目前在甲方从事IT项目集成与项目管理工作。已完成加拿大移民申请并短登，考虑到无本地学历和工作经验，决定采取曲线救国的方式先上学后工作。

在准备GMAT的同时，目前也在准备选校，目前考虑MBA多一些，但同时我也很犹豫，因为对于找本地(我指的是北美)工作而言，MBA不一定具有找工作的优势，相反，程序员或MIS-Master切入点是技术和coding，或许会更容易找到工作一点？（不止一次看到帖子说MBA在本地不容易找到工作，因为文化，语言，network，blabla...）

想听听大家的意见，望大家不吝赐教，砖头也欢迎。

MBA: harder to get in, harder to land a job(I suppose your English isn't too good and in Canada you have to learn francais?), 35yr old fresh MBA is kind of old

I agree with you, I can imagine a 35-yr old fresh mba like me will face a dilemma as you mentioned, this is the main reason why I keep thinking about master rather than mba... Actually, this is what I concern most.

To be honest, I am not expecting a "stellar" job(e.g careers in IB) there, what I can expect is merely a job related to my background/skill, for example, BA or data-mining specialist, hope find a job like this won't be too hard... Thank god French is not "must" requirement in Toronto(unlike Quebec), otherwise I am gonna hang myself in learning French from scrach
