Master: easier to land a tech job, but your career won't be stellar. You'll have to pray for 'no lay-off please' soon MBA: harder to get in, harder to land a job(I suppose your English isn't too good and in Canada you have to learn francais?), 35yr old fresh MBA is kind of old It's like between a rock and a hard place, man ..... -- by 会员 windmaple (2011/7/18 10:55:44)Thank you windmaple.

I agree with you, I can imagine a 35-yr old fresh mba like me will face a dilemma as you mentioned, this is the main reason why I keep thinking about master rather than mba... Actually, this is what I concern most.

To be honest, I am not expecting a "stellar" job(e.g careers in IB) there, what I can expect is merely a job related to my background/skill, for example, BA or data-mining specialist, hope find a job like this won't be too hard... Thank god French is not "must" requirement in Toronto(unlike Quebec), otherwise I am gonna hang myself in learning French from scrach
