强烈赞同！另外再补充一下我的看法
首先用简单的主谓一致先暴力排除ABC（为了只讨论DE=.=）可以看到D以which开头，E以collateral开头。
E的collateral指的是farm equipment and land，用N+N modifier清晰指代farm equipment and land [1]
D的which前为“.....farm equipment and land, which...",易造成which究竟是指代land 还是farm equipment and land的歧义;而且D中的”use (sth) as collateral"就是"borrow against" that thing的意思，所以意思重复[2];再者，如Ron所说，介词最好紧跟关系代词，所以排除D


borrow against sth就是以sth 作为抵押借钱...的意思
貌似不是idiom，主要是平时习惯用against来引出抵押物
参考：If you are a homeowner youcould have thousands of pounds locked up in the value of your home. But if youneed to borrow, is taking out a secured loan against your home sensible orsomething to avoid at all costs?[3]

从中文意思来看 against+n表示以n作为抵押来贷款（taking out a secured loan）

在参考：抵押贷款-loan againstcollateral; loan on collateral security; loan on mortgage; loan on security; secured loan

可以看出，loan against/on 后面都可以引出抵押物，所以这是个介词的用法而已
