三个选项我辨不清，

白勇的讲解是说B中增长率和it was 不并列，D中that of无指代对象，可我想不通，除了我觉得好像fast不与rate搭配外。

如果有空的可否帮我看一下，谢拉！

虽然看了CD上牛牛们的比较结构分析，还是有点云里雾里，没救了！

B中twice as fast as对比的应该是动作，短语前部是个名词短语，后部是个带谓语的主谓动词结构，所以名次短语与动词结构不平行；

D中应该说是that的指代对象模糊，因为前部有三个of结构，把that内容补全可以是：than the rate of 1980's；than the rate of increase of 1980's 或 than the rate of increase of the minority population of the 1970's，而这三个结构与句首的in the 1980's结构都无法形成结构的平行，所以，that of的确缺乏合适的指代对象，这个句子如果将of改成in，可能会比较合适，与in the 1980's 有对应。

可对于B,我还是有些疑问，the rate of increase of the minority population of the United States was不也是个主谓结构吗，为什么不能与后面的主谓动词结构it was 平行呢？

B中的it指代的是1980年的rate，如果要表达不同年代相同属性的rate，代词的补出应该用that而不是it，而如果是名词用that/those等这类代词补出的话，比较对象就十分明确，所以一般在这种情况下不要补出动词。

但是我还有个问题，既然it是指1980年的rate，那么c选项中的it为什么就能够成立呢？非常感谢！

C的优点在于补出了一个what，what相当于the rate that这里的the rate已经相当于1970年的rate了(我们在补出主语的时候有两种方式，一种是补出单复数性质相同的代词，比如复数名词用those替代，单数名词用that替代，另一种是补出相同的名词，这种情况一般是A－名词单复数不一致，比如前面用单数名词，但代词补出的位置需要复数，而用those补出就会有缺乏指代的嫌疑，所以直接用复数名词补出，B－有一些时态或其他需要，比如此句的变相补出)，而C中的it指代的是what里所包含的1970的the rate。
