要是选B不选C,就没天理了。

难道说：The cake took me 1 hour to complete it? 那我倒要问it指什么了。

虽然是及物动词，也不一定要加it呀。比如：His voice is too low to hear. 难道要说His voice is too low to hear it?

LZM 的书P97叶说明了不定式做逻辑宾语的情况：

1。不定式的动词是及物的，后不能接宾语。I lent him a book to read.

2。不定式的动词是不及物的，后面需用介词，不加宾语。

can you find us some records to listen to?

这样看来，complete是及物动词，我认为C正确。

The answer is B instead of C, but it is obvious that the correct form is " XXX took somebody  some time to complete", rather than ".... to complete it". I don't know why there should be an "it" here.
